We act for both buyers and sellers of residential property and consider that Carpenter & Co play a very important part in your house moving experience. Although we annually deal with hundreds of transactions each of our clients are important to us and we do believe that we provide very much a personal service and are here to assist in all aspects of your move.

We do appreciate that many participants in the house buying and selling process are keen to try and persuade the homeowner to use their services and end up with a conveyancing factory-type operation some 200-300 miles away.

Whilst the costs are always expressed to be cheap and the service exemplary it is often the case that with the added extras the client ends up paying more and the wonderful service consists of a receptionist talking about the transaction from a computer screen. Over 70% of our work is derived from our existing client base, in other words people come back to us again and again and again.

Mortgaging & Remortgaging work

It is an important function of life these days to ensure that financing on property is properly handled. Accordingly when loans are arranged either by way of mortgages on unmortgaged property or remortgages that you can expect a swift service on drawing down the loans.

As they say time is money therefore we are experienced in this type of work and can normally meet fairly tight time.
